Be Ye Humble Servants

When Jesus first came, He did not come to overthrow government, be a king or rule over anyone. He came as a humble servant, not to be served, but to serve. He was not with the so called religious people, but He was with those who were considered unclean; He was with the hurting, the sick, drunkards; the honest sinners. He not only loved them, He showed His love. You may not be rich and are unable to give someone money, but to serve someone, and be a blessing for someone is much more than giving money. It's in a smile, a hug, a simple reassurance that you are there for them. Many people say that,"I am a king or queen in Christ", I say, let us be servants first, and let Jesus be our King. Let us be like Christ, treating others, no matter who they are, like Christ would treat them, and let us love like Christ and show that love to all. I want Christ to remove everything of me, until all that is left is Him. I will not follow my heart, my will, or my desires, but I will follow the heart, will, and desires of the King of kings, Christ Jesus my Lord. Let us be humble servants; wanting to serve, and not be served.
