Let The Fire of God Fall

Let us focus on fire; God spoke to Moses through a fire; with fire God burned up the sacrifice Elijah placed on the alter, so consuming was this fire that it consumed the water and the dust (dust in the sense of gold dust that was used for idols, and is a counterfeit for the Holy Spirit in some churches today). It is written, "Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:28-29). John the Baptist, speaking of Jesus, said that He would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11). This fire is a cleansing fire that consumes all things that are not of Christ; we do not just lay our burdens on the alter, we lay ourselves on the alter as a living sacrifice, allowing the fire of God to purge us, refine us, and purity us. Also, let us be like Jeremiah and be unable to stay silent because the word of God is in hearts like a burning fire shut up in our bones (Jeremiah 20:9). Allow God to fill you with His Holy fire and let that fire rage into a wildfire that spreads from county to county, city to city, state to state, and nation to nation. There is something here, and something worse is coming this way, and we, the warriors of Christ, must be prepared to fight. Let the fire of God fall and cleanse this land, and cleanse the people; let us carry that fire in us and spread it everywhere we go. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
