Christ Desires a Relationship With You

It is an amazing truth that the God who created the universe would desire a relationship with beings as ourselves. The one who said, "Let there be light", and light went out from His mouth at 186,000 miles per second. The one with so much power that He formed everything we see in the heavens and around us by just speaking it into existence; yet, He wants to have relationship with us, the ones He formed with His hands and breathed His life into us. With all His power, He is gentle in His embrace of His children; with His perfect Holiness and righteousness, He is effected by the decisions we make and the things we say. Do we control God? Absolutely not; but are we not also effected by those we love, and are not our hearts touched by acts of kindness by strangers; and do we not feel a touch of anger when we see others being hurt? So God, the Almighty Creator, feels for His hand touched creation. Jesus Christ wants to embrace you; show you love and help you through it all. He hurts when you hurt, cries when you cry, is touched when you show love to others, and He smiles when He sees us do good. When you approach the throne, Christ does not see your vileness, He sees His righteousness wrapped around you, perfection given to you by the Savior. I do not mean perfection in nature, for our nature is corrupted, but in spirit. Let us praise the Conquering King and forever worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Peace be with you all.
