Jesus Christ is Our Only Hope

God is such a gracious God. He calls for delight to be a duty, and rejoicing a command. This is not a joy that only occurs once in awhile, but a joy for all time. To wallow in your pain, or to find your worth in gaining sympathy from others, is like injecting a slow acting poison into your bloodstream. It is robbing you of joy, and is destroying your ability to feel love. You may say, "No one cares". To that I say, you are so blinded by your own pain that you are not able to actually see the love that others have for you, and your not able to realize the love God has for you. Wanting sympathy in a time of hurt is natural, but that is only a temporary solace. Only Christ can give you a joy that surpasses understanding. Rejoice in the Lord. Lift your eyes to the one who died, yet lives forever more. Cry out to the giver of peace, for He is the Prince of peace, the Rock on which you should stand, He is our only hope, He is Christ Jesus the Lord. May His peace, love and grace be with you all.
