The Breath of God. Touched by the Creator
God said, let there be light, and there was. God said, let there be waters, creatures, and every creeping thing, and there was. By His word these things were created, but when it came to man/woman, He touched them with His hand. A personal touch to form His most priced creation. You are in God's image and it is His breath that fills your lungs. A breath that gave you life and made you a living soul. But it was fractured. The creators' heart was broken. He then made a plan to send Jesus Christ to take our place and pay the debt of our sin that we could not and cannot pay. With Christ you are forgiven; you are restored; you are bought with His blood and then brought back into right relationship with the Father. Jesus Christ, the champion, the restorer, the redeemer, the savior, who calls out in a whisper for you to come to Him. The one who gives peace, worth and hope to His children. But will one day shout with such a powerful voice that the earth will quake. Will you heed His still, small, and loving voice now, or will you run from Him and cower in fear when you hear the voice of many waters. That same voice that created the earth will call out; we will see the hands that formed us, but those same hands were pierced to show His great love for us. Judgement scars that paid for our sins. Breath deep the breath of the Almighty God and let Him fill you with His Spirit. May the love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
