The Sleepless Eyes of Jesus Christ

I have heard many say that, "Man created God". In a way, that is true. They create a god that they were comfortable with. A god they can just worship on Sunday, and still bless them through the week. A god that only requires the occasional prayer so his wrath is not poured on them. That is the man made god. But it is the true God who created all things; that breathed life into the dust of the earth, creating a living soul. It was the true God who took on human flesh, and walked among His very creation; becoming like us. Christ took on the very wrath that was meant to be poured out on us. Jesus Christ is seated on the right hand of the Father, with all power and authority. With His sleepless eyes, He looks down on His creation, with sorrow in His heart. You see, this world was not intended to be as it is now, it was meant to be a place where we walked with God; experiencing His glory. Christ will reestablish that order, but let us remain faithful in Him and the promise that He gave. There is coming a day that our King will return; He will wipe the tears away; He will remove all sorrow; no more starving children; no more killing a person simply over their difference in belief. I hold on to the hope that my Lord promised that He would return, but until that day I will hold to Him, for He is my only hope. I look forward to seeing the very one who loves me with an everlasting love. Beloved, He has not forgotten us, and we do not walk alone. He will return for us. Until He does, tell others of the one who is our blessed hope, Jesus Christ our Lord. Peace be with you all.
