Who Do You Say Jesus Christ Is?

In Matthew 16, Jesus asks the question, "who do the people say that I am?". They gave their answer, then He poses the question to His disciples, "who do you say that I am?". Peter says, "You are the Christ, the son of the living God". Peter would later tremble at a small woman, and deny Christ three times. But when Jesus rose and went to the Father, the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost and a transformed Peter preached with power and authority, and 3000 came to Christ that day. We hear what others say about who they think Christ is, but He asks you the same question, "Who do YOU say I am?". To me, He is my King; my Lord; the Christ, the son of the living God who gave His life that I may be forgiven, and much, much more. I am an example that He breaks chains of addictions, removes bonds that are wrapped so tight that they are squeezing the life out of you, and can deliver from thoughts of death and suicide. Oh my friends, I don't just need Jesus, I have to have Him. For if I didn't have Him, you would not be reading this right now. He is alive, and since He is alive, there is hope; Christ is our only hope. Do not allow a enemy, who only want's to see you destroyed, have power over you. Let life be spoken into those dead bones by the power of Christ Jesus the Lord. May His love surround you and His grace lift you out of the ashes. It is in the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
