Without Love, We Are Nothing
Let us not be too concerned today with what others do for us or what they say to us. Instead, let us show love to others without the expectation of receiving anything in return. The apostle Paul wrote that if he had the voice of angels, but did not have love, then it was like a noisy cymbal clanging away. If he knew all mysteries and all knowledge, and had all faith to remove a mountain, but did not have love, he was nothing. And if he gave all possessions to feed the poor, and gave his body to be burned, but did not have love, it would profit him nothing (1Corithians 13:1-3). You see, love is the greatest force with the power to transcend time and space in order to reach the one it has intended to reach. Yes, love is powerful, for God is love, and He showed His great love by sending His only Son to die for our sins. In His love, Christ was not provoked to wrath or considered it wrong when He suffered, instead, He forgave. Be kind and patient, not jealous or arrogant; don't keep a record of the wrongs done to you; love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. When all else fails and everything is done away with, love remains, for love never fails (1Corinthians 13:4-10). Jesus loves us, therefore, let us show the love of Jesus Christ to others, for by doing so, it may be the closest to them seeing the love of Christ; show love and be loving, always. May His presence surround you and His love fill your heart until it's overflowing. Peace be with you all.
